This year the two up and coming Norwegian brands GRAA and AÙMA were invited by New York Fashion Week to show their collections at Fashion Gallery: a stage for emerging designers.
Both brands are a part of F5, a fashion collective based in Oslo with a simple philosophy: together we are stronger. Their focus is to gather and strengthen fashion in Norway but also on an international scale.
AÙMA is a young contemporary brand that is driven by Gloria Aùma and her partner Magne Risnes. Their collection features both mens & womanswear.
Architecture, big city lifestyle and its citizens inspire this season. Therefor there was no better place to showcase their collection than in New York. The colors are dark from black to navy but with hints of white, grey and powder pink. Key materials are jersey in natural fibers, alcantara and silk organza.
GRAA is all about streetwear for men and is inspired by the everyday life and taste of the two designers Benjamin Marthinsen and Filip Wibe. Both are creative souls and started the brand with the purpose of making the perfect grey sweatshirt. The collections are wearable with classic pieces such as basic jeans and college sweats to more advanced outwear in wool and technical materials.
